Londonstani

I was gifted a copy of this book and was intrigued and apprehensive when i read the first line, what with of being substituted for 'a' and almost every line in dialogue and narrative ending with innit, it takes a little getting used to. After you do though it's a really good book ... not just about the punajbi mundas, the sissy pendhus, or the sexy kurriyan.... its about Jas and his posse trying to create an identity for themselves. And that is the best part of the book.... I identified with Jas in how he was trying to be someone he wasnt... or not completely in any case.... Another interesting aspect that really stood out for me is the bling economics... makes a lot of sense.... so ... my suggestion is read it.... it's worth the time...
